BHS Welcoming His Grace Bishop Thomas Joseph and Father Christopher Eid

Bishmizzine High School had the honor of welcoming His Grace Bishop Thomas Joseph and Father Christopher Eid from the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America during their recent educational visit to Lebanon.

The purpose of their visit was to gain insight into how private schools in Lebanon operate, as part of the Archdiocese’s ongoing efforts to establish and develop Orthodox schools in the United States. As Bishop Thomas Joseph stated, “We are here to learn from you.” Their objective was to understand the structure of Lebanese private education, the daily practices that support student growth, and the ways schools foster discipline, values, and community engagement.

They interacted with students, engaged in meaningful discussions, and asked questions related to their studies and school experience. The students welcomed them with respect and enthusiasm, offering a clear reflection of the school’s spirit and culture.
