Good evening parents, teachers, and fellow graduates. I stand in front of you today to celebrate the end of a road and the beginning of a new one. It is said that time can not be measured for it’s like grains of sand slipping through a narrow crack. My memories in this school are timeless and will forever be cherished.
But one thing about time is that it always runs out, so after years of learning valuable lessons about the world beyond our second home, the bell rang for the last time. However, sunsets are proof that endings can be beautiful too. School fostered an atmosphere of love, patience, and understanding that I will forever be grateful for.
There will be no more of “What time does the bell ring?”, “Can I borrow some tissues?” or "did anyone do the maths homework?” Because we are moving forward to an unknown future and a new beginning.
I want to give out a special thanks to the school staff, employees, and especially our teachers, to whom we owe a large debt. I also want to dedicate my achievements to my parents, who sacrificed their light to brighten my path. To my mother who has always stood by my side and believed in me in every step of the way. To my father who has always been my rock and supported me without ever doubting my abilities. To my grandparents and family who I Know I could always count on.
And finally to my fellow classmates, I hope you lead the successful life you deserve.
As Winston Churchill once said, “This is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning”. Thank you everyone.
